What does "data stays on your device" actually mean?
On the Basics tier, every assessment, incident, and photo you save stays only in your phone or tablet's browser storage. We have no access to it, don't store it on our servers, and can't read it. It's your records, on your device. The only thing that goes to our servers is your licence key validation.
How long is the free trial?
Trial keys are available in 1-month, 6-week, and 3-month durations. Email us at
[email protected] and tell us your trade and company name — we'll have a key to you within the hour.
Can I use SafeCheck on my whole team's phones?
Yes — your access key can be entered on as many devices as needed. On the Starter tier each device stores its own records locally. The Business tier (coming soon) syncs everything to a central account so you can see the whole team's assessments in one place.
What trades are covered?
SafeCheck currently covers 20 trades: Electrician, Builder, Plumber/Gasfitter, Drainlayer, Roofer, Painter, Automotive Mechanic, Gib Stopper, Concrete Construction, Scaffolder/Rigger, Gardener/Landscaper/Treework, Glazier, Handyman, Civil Plant Operator, Traffic Controller/Road Worker, Farmer, Storeman/Forklift Operator, Garage Door Installer, Fencing Contractor, and Pest Control. Does SafeCheck replace my HSWA obligations?
No. SafeCheck is a decision-support tool, not a legal compliance substitute. Using it before every task helps you identify and record critical risks — but your duties as a PCBU under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 remain with you.
